Pay for what was solved, not for what went quiet.

Intercom counts a customer who stays silent for 24 hours as resolved, charges $0.99 for it, and has no hard cap. Gripz charges only for resolutions the customer confirmed or that passed an independent check, and stops at the cap your Owner set.

Where Intercom is strong

Fin's procedures, simulations and voice go deep. Tickets, SLAs and workforce management are mature. The report builder, the breadth of outbound and in-app messages, and a long list of compliance certifications are real advantages. If those decide your purchase today, Intercom is a sound choice.

Where Gripz differs

How an AI charge is earned and capped. What the plan already includes. AI testing and publish gates on every plan. A person who can always be reached. Leaving with all of your data. Each of these is a row in the table below.

Eight differences that show up on the invoice or in the queue.

What we assumed

Both tools resolve the same 1,000 conversations. Intercom also bills resolutions it assumes after 24 hours of silence, so its billed count can be higher than a verified count.

Intercom on Advanced, Copilot at its lower price, Pro at its starting price. Per-conversation tiers and channel fees are left out on both sides. Intercom figures from the sources above, verified 2 October 2026.

The Intercom importer is free. It rehearses first, keeps both tools in step while you test, and leaves Intercom untouched so you can go back.

Questions people ask when they compare.

Is this comparison fair?

Gripz wrote it, so read it that way. Every Intercom fact is dated and sourced, and what Intercom does better is at the top of the page, not the bottom.

What makes a resolution verified?

The AI finished the conversation on its own, and either the customer said it was solved, or an independent check judged it solved and the customer did not come back about it for 7 days.

Do we keep our Intercom history?

Yes. Conversations arrive with their notes, attachments and assignments, and conversations still open in Intercom arrive open.

Is there an offer for switchers?

Switchers get a 24-month price lock under the bill of rights. Other program terms go here once they are final.
